Both the World Food Programme and the BBC have started mobile campaigns disseminating health information to people in Ebola-affected areas. The WFP is also using text messages to collect surveys about household food security. The mobile programs are well-received, but one major roadblock is the limited scope of potential impact. For example, Sierra Leone only had a mobile penetration rate of 48% in 2012. Source: The Guardian
